Several changes have been made to the background updates to further improve performance. Updaters will automatically pause when it detects any human interaction in painless desktop to prevent slow down when using the application. Note that this may make the updates look like they are taking longer because of the automatic pausing.
Additionally, the updaters are being converted perform updates in a less processor intensive way. Most high volume updaters have been changed to use this new method to prevent slow down or lock ups; the remaining will be completed in future updates.
Update data is now compressed, which should cause faster downloads when updating.
A bug that caused the previous purchases screen to lock up or take up to a minute to load has been corrected.
We are excited to announce that Approvers will receive an email notification when an order is pending their approval in PainlessWeb.
A direct link to the order will display in the email for the approver to click on to either approver or decline the order.
